First and foremost, I'm a writer and I'm a reader. I am very rarely without either my Kindle, a paperback, or sometimes both!
As an independent author myself, I know it's difficult to find affordable and quality editors and readers for your work. I have a background in education which has given me a very good eye for detail. I will always listen to you to make sure I know what it is you are truly seeking to achieve - this is your work and I want to make your voice as clear as it can possibly be.

Developmental Editing
I will read your manuscript and provide feedback from a more holistic perspective. Is the structure good? Does the narrative hold true? Are the characters consistent?
Rates: £0.03 per word
Copy Editing
Yes, we all spot some of our mistakes, but we never catch them all! I will check your work line by line for issues (e.g. spelling, punctuation and grammar).
Rates: £0.02 per word
Beta Reading
Do you think your story is pretty much ready? I'll read and provide feedback purely as a reader to help you iron out any last issues.
Rates: £0.25 per 100 words
Proofreading
The final stage! Let me give your work a final check for any errors, inconsistencies or issues.
Rates: £0.01 per word
